Kinsey is a darling 9 month old lab-mix puppy who was found dodging traffic on 183 by a Good Samaritan. Her rescuer tried every way to find her family, but turned her over to us after a week so that we can help this poor girl find a Forever Family to love her.

Kinsey is back in foster care

Kinsey had the chance to spend three weeks with a wonderful family at her trial home, but in the end, though they had bonded and felt great affection for Kinsey, she wasn't a good match for them and their tiny dachshund-mix puppy. So Kinsey is back with us, enriched by her time away, but still looking for her own Forever Home.

Kinsey will be making her Meet & Greet debut tomorrow (Sunday) at the Great Hills Trail PETCO from 1-4 PM. Come say "Hi!".

Since she has been back, Kinsey has had no problem getting right back into her old routine. Our backyard is currently under construction, though, so she is needing to go on walks on the leash for potty breaks. She adapted wonderfully to this, and is a pleasure to take on small walks around the neighborhood.

Black Dogs

I am going to tell you the sad truth of rescue... black dogs just don't get saved as often as other dogs do. And one of the factors is that they are extremely hard to photograph!! Their dark eyes blend with their dark fur, making it so very hard to get a good photo. But we tried our best today to show her sweet, gentle personality. Hopefully someone will see through the photos! And she will be at the group Meet & Greet next week so that she can shine in person!
